Cat and Mouse

The boys are just chewing everything in sight. The latest thing I caught Arthur nibbling on was the mouse cord. Before that, he tried to bite a hole in the wall!

Can I get them some of those Hannibal Lecter facemasks until they're done teething?

LOL! I'm trying to picture Arthur eating the wall... Are they at the teething stage? It's possible they're just doing it because their little teeth hurt and the new ones are growning in. I have a cordless mouse so Timothy can't chew it but now, he has a new toy that is always on the floor if I don't cover it with the keyboard cover thingy.

Duh, just saw that they are teething. I'm a genius. So now that I know for sure they're teething, I found this little tidbit on some random website (can't remember which one) but it gives some ideas for teething kittens:

*Put tape on electrical wiring so your little ones do not hurt themselves.
*Keep household chemicals out of her way.
*Give your little ones a few special toys to chew on:
*Soak the chew toys in broth or rub them all over with your hands (your kitten loves your scent and is more likely to chew something that smells like you).
*Another thing is to use a cold towel. This helps relieve the pain of teething. Tie a knot in a small clean towel, wet it, wring it out and put it in the freezer to chill. Your kittens will love this!

It's worth a try right?

I remember those days (and they said teething humans are difficult) -- I chewed on my human's hand a lot back then. --Muddy,
