Do They Need a Bigger Bed?

Do I need to get the boys a bigger bed? Lately, perhaps because of the cold weather, the boys are spending more time cuddled in their warm bed. We have the heat on max, but it's controlled by the building and it can get drafty in here.

Or maybe it's not about the temperature. Maybe the boys just love each other. After all, they are brothers.

Oh sweet pictures. If you get them a new bed, they will probably sniff it, then go to their familiar old bed and nap. sss's mom

I don't know... I'm a proponent of bigger but cozy beds. They look squished to me in this pic! If I were you, I'd keep the old bed, and also try a new, larger one... perhaps with one of those "purr pads" that cats love on the bottom (my cats don't love the beds with the detachable pillows on the bottom... not comfy for them)...

Good luck!

Cats seem to like confined spaces for some reason they just love to curl up into a as tiny of a ball of fur as they possibly can.

Avram, you really have raised some very sweet kitties. YOu should be very proud of them. They look so happy.

They look quite comfy to me - even so close together in the bed. If they weren't happy about it, they simply wouldn't use it.

Don't worry about the bed... these kitties sleep this way because they love it, and each other.

Those pics are just so adorable! We've just been through the same dilemma and ended up leaving Sam in his regular bed and buying him a cat napper seat, which is a sort of baby bouncer thing he can sleep on but he sleeps in his main bed at night. It seems to me that cats like to be touching something on as many sides as possible when they're asleep, hence they curl into you...I'm sure if they're not comfy they'll find another spot!
