Need Help Finding a Cat Ball

A few months ago, I was at a local PetSmart and bought a bag of three rubber balls (a blue, a green, and a pink) which became Arthur's favorite toys. These rubber balls are different from any others I've seen because they have these small rubber spines sticking out and they have bells inside which jingle as they roll.

These balls are superior to any others I've seen or bought because they roll slowly and are easy for cats to carry in their mouths.

I wish I had video of it, but Arthur will actually play fetch with the pink ball (his favorite color for some reason). If I throw the pink ball up on a chair or a couch, he'll grab it in his mouth and bring it back to me to throw again.

Unfortunately, these balls are starting to wear out and PetSmart doesn't have them anymore. I've been to dozens of pet stores and searched tirelessly online, but I haven't seen these balls anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find them?

My apologies...I posted under the wrong name. Here's what I meant to say:
Never seen them myself but I do have to say playing fetch with Timmy rocks the house. I find it to be one of the most adorable things cats do. (Timmy is the first cat to join our home...we've been a dog family since before I was born) I'll take a closer look in our PetSmart to see if they're there and pick up a few for ya... I found some great fun rubber octagon shaped balls at our A&P (go figure!) and Timmy loves them...especially at 3 am in the tub! LOL!

Ah, sorry about your ball. Here is something very similar:

After reading your entire blog last week, I got very excited about finally adopting a cat, and I took the plunge on Saturday. I am now the proud momma of a Siamese and a little Maine Coon.

The server seems to be broken right now, but I hope to start a blog like yours, coz I enjoyed it and got so much out of it. Thanks again :)

That's so cool! I look forward to seeing your cats. What are their names?

I've seen those balls online and I may order them, but they are slightly different (have white paint on them which may come off).

Mmm... luckily they are only $2 so I guess its not too scary to give them a try.

You are too sweet :). Haven't settled on names entirely, but I am leaning towards Hamlet and Rama... will see what the husband thinks.

I have a few pictures now... yes, this copycat blog is a very fangirlish thing to have done, that's flattering right?

I have the same type of ball here (in Malaysia) but it's sold as a foot massager. I just roll it under the ball of my foot. Perhaps if you looked in either an Asian shop or in a really cheap $1 shop you might find a replacement?

Love the blog! Am adding it to my list of favourites on Katz Tales

Hey Avram. It's Steve. I found a big bin of these jingle balls at petsmat last night for $1.99 for a pack of 3. I can pick some up for you and give them to you the next time I see you. Say Hi to Liz and give the kitties skritchens for me.

I found these at the petsmart for my cats. They are similar to your toy, and they light up when you throw them on the floor. Just a thought...

Check out the selection at www.westcoastpetsupply.com.
They have a physical store in Soquel California and all their inventory is on the web for shipping to all the states. Lots of good cat blinky light toys.
