Follow the adventures of Arthur and Beowulf, two small cats living in the big city.
He looks happy and so do you.
That is so cute! Reminds me somewhat of Pepper, but she doesnt sleep with my hand like Arthur does to yours.
Hi,I just discovered your blog and was going through the archives. For a soon-to-be mom (I pick up my 13-week old kitten Amelie tomorrow) your blog as well as Franny Syufy's extensive knowledge have been invaluable. I noticed that you were considering insuring the boys at one point. Did you decide which company to go with, or did you decide against the health insurance? I was wondering if I should also get Amelie insurance, but when I looked at the different companies on the web, my mind was boggled. Any help from anyone is appreciated! Thanks!
Congrats on your new kitten. I do insure the boys with VPI pet insurance (http://www.petinsurance.com). I pay about $175 per year per cat for the VPI Superior plan. I did not buy the routine care coverage nor the additional coverage for cancer (cancer is covered under my plan but you can buy a rider for more coverage).Having the insurance makes me feel better, but I haven't need to use it yet so I can't say anything about the ease of making a claim. I take my boys for vet visits, but since I don't have routine care coverage, that's all out of pocket. I look at the insurance premium the same way I'd look at auto insurance if I had a car. It's something you have, but never want to use. Without the routine care, it's insurance against major illness or injury. If my boys swallow a foreign object, for example, the surgery could cost $1,000 but I'd get reimbursed most of that with this insurance.
I hug Momma's arm like that too. It makes my motor run really loud. We both fall asleep that way.Mittens Pollypaws

What cute photos! Arthur is so loving. Since I can't have any cats of my own because of my health problems, I help out a no-kill shelter not far from my home. I'm their webmaster:http://www.rapsociety.comGreat stories and photos, Avram!
How loving! Has been quite a while since I checked in on Bewulff and Arthur... It's amazing how they've grown up... You are such a good provider... All the best to all... Don and Kitty (Pestbouncer)
that reminds me of my cat COCO i used to learn with her...she d just jump on my desk in order to get some attention..... she got strokies, it payed for her! today i am married and little Coco lives with my parents so i visit her and she is always very very happy and so am, when i do. i think people and cats learn a lot from each other and give each other a lot....people who have cats learn to accept so much more about other people...cheers theNessy
