First of all, Liz and I want to thank everyone who has sent kind wishes, thoughts, and prayers to us, both through this blog and elsewhere. Your support has meant a lot to us and to our boys and it really helped us through this ordeal. With all the hubub about our boys' health, we haven't posted all the pictures we'd like to share with you. So here are some of our favorites from the last couple of weeks. We hope you enjoy looking at them almost as much as we enjoyed being there to take them. The pic of above was just shot a few minutes ago.
This pic of Beowulf exploring an Amazon.com box really doesn't tell the whole story. He hung out in the box for a couple of hours before we finally had to throw it out. This one is a couple of weeks old, taken when Arthur still had his feeding tube but was getting better. He loves to lie down in the laundry basket.

So nice to see a happy ending to Arthur story. Those two cats are good friends. A pleasure to see.
Have you and your cats, a nice spring and summer.
Linda
Gasp! You don't keep boxes when the cats like them? Our living room is full of beloved boxes.
@sara, I guess we're just concerned that they'll chew the cardboard and swallow things they shouldn't. Beowulf has plenty of places to hide out anyway.
@sociodoc, Thanks so much for all your support. I look forward to your comments when I post :).
Goodbye my dearest furriends. The Bridge has called to me and I have decided to answer.
I will see you here.
Your dearest furriend,
Magoo
how is arthur now? completely recovered? hope the boys r well
Hi you guys... I have some sad news... my one-eyed 15 year old darling Harley very likely has kidney disease... she's lost a whole lot of weight in the past month, no appetite, lethargic. Took her in on Friday for a whole slew of "senior cat" tests. Getting results Monday but I already know. Please hold her in your thoughts. I'm not ready to let her go yet (she enjoyed being in the back yard today soaking up some sun) but once her quality of life gets any worse than it is... well... it's sad as you all know. Hi,
I really enjoy your blog and have created a link to it in my blogroll. I was just wondering if you might return the favor? My blog is at www.cleverkitties.com.
Thanks!
... sorry to interrupt your blog with more news of my kitty Harley but she's OK!!!!! Her lethargy was due to her meds for hyper-thyroid being insufficient. YAY, I'm so relieved I don't have to say goodbye to my "one eyed girl" yet. Take care (((Avram Liz Beowulf Arthur))) from socidoc
I hope the boys are still doing well!
Hi there, I hope Arthur and Beowulf are much better. I wonder their health. My fingers are crossed for them.
Hi there Avram and all... just a sad note to say... we lost my beautiful one-eyed cat Harley last weekend... probably the cancer from her one eye (which was removed) had spread. Very sad. But I'm so happy for you that your whole family is healthy once again! :) (from socidoc)
We hope the boys are doing well, healthy & happy.
Avram, let me know if you'd like your cats to sample a Mewvie from mewvie.com. I'd be happy to send you a comp in exchange for a review.

Wow! I just came across your story and have quickly looked at this year's saga. Best wishes for your kitties.
My kitty was almost 17 -- I lost her in March of this year. Trying to get my nerve up to rescue again. Still a bit heart broken.
These furkids sure know how to steal your heart! Best to you.
I hope all is well with Arthur and Beowulf.
if you need them, our thoughts are with you.
If you don't; well, they're still there.
Thanks for your comforting words at Magoo's passing. We should have been better at thanking our furriends, but we were preoccupied...
Okay, we were totally messed up with his sudden departure.
Avram and Liz and boyz!
We need new pics and news of the boyz! Hope all is well! (from socidoc)
I found very useful information about cats. Your cat is looking very cool.
What is his name.
Your cats have a lot in common with my rabbits, they love to hang out in my bed and in the hamper every time they are out of their rabbit hutches and do the pile up thing. So cute.
Those are some great photos! We hope the boys are doing well, healthy & happy.
